As we all know, the BlackBerry logo has been proudly displayed on the Silver Arrow (F1 W04) since the partnership between BlackBerry and Mercedes AMG Petronas Team has been announced. The video showcases some features of BlackBerry 10, namely BBM, Video Chat, and Screen Sharing. Nothing we have not seen before. No matter, it is still a nice video showcasing their collaboration.
If you have been following Formula 1, you would know that Mercedes AMG Petronas Team has been producing some pretty great results in the hands of Nico Rosberg, & Lewis Hamilton, which meant great air time for BlackBerry as well. Also, they do have some awesome headphones with the BlackBerry logo proudly displayed as well.
BlackBerry is without a doubt a great communication device, and it is still common to see many teams still using them as well. For one, Christian Horner, Team Principal of Red Bull Racing has been seen a couple of times this season still rocking a Bold 9900, and it is easy to understand why. The keyboard is still the choice for heavy communicators, and of course the security BlackBerry devices provides.
