One of the main complaints for BlackBerry Link desktop software for BlackBerry 10 is the support for Outlook sync. Now, the latest BlackBerry Link, v1.0.1.11, for PCs allows this one way sync which outlook users are looking for. As usual, Mac users will still have to wait for an update. We heard that BlackBerry is still bringing two way sync soon but I guess this should help most users to setup properly first!
New Features
Personal information management data import
Customers can utilize BlackBerry® Link to initiate a one-way transfer of contacts & calendar data from their computer to their BlackBerry® smartphone. An upcoming release of BlackBerry® Link will support full two-way synchronization.
Note: You do not require this transfer if the contacts and calendar appointments are wirelessly synchronized to a web-based email account that is set up on the device.
Caution: Updates made to contacts or calendar appointments in the desktop application will not be synchronized if the customer chooses to import their data to the device again.
