For the fun of it, me and my friends went around to speak to some dealers and shop owners regarding the OS7 device sales and get their feedback. Pretty interesting pointers they gave me.
- BlackBerry Bold 9900 was a hot seller. However, it seemed that the battery life was a very big issue with their customers, with many returning the device the moment BlackBerry Bold 9790 was released (to get the Bold 9790).
*Upon further probing, it seems like they were all on the STOCK OS, .261, which is rather notorious for that performance. We recommend OS .540 - The BlackBerry Torch 9860 has some trouble on that sales end.
- The BlackBerry Bold 9790 is quite a hot seller now. Customers believe that the Bold 9790 has a better battery performance than Bold 9900
Something worth noting was, there was not much complains regarding the camera! Interesting findings.
