BlackBerry has started the roll out of the October Security Patch for the BlackBerry devices powered by Android. This includes the BlackBerry Priv and DTEK50. With this update, it brings the Android security patch level to 5 October 2016 and Build Number AAG853.
This is a monthly security update fixes 57 various security vulnerabilities, with bulk of it going to fixing the Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability in various services and Qualcomm drivers.
Whilst the update has already been pushed out, unlocked devices purchased directly from BlackBerry will be seeing the update first whilst the rest should slowly receive it over the course of the week.
