Attended the BlackBerry PlayDate today, where they shared with us some of the cool features of the latest OS 2.0 for the PlayBook which was released somewhere in February this year.
While there weren’t any earth-shattering revelations made from what we already know of the OS 2.0’s features (native email client, social integration with the calendar and contacts, and the updated BlackBerry Bridge with remote control feature), it was a nice little event to meet up with fellow BlackBerry users and staff (not to mention the good food and free flow of drinks~!).
I did get one interesting tip from the guys at SGBerry for my BlackBerry phone, but that’s another story for another time. 😉
The highlight of the day was perhaps the Playbook giveaway that they had for one lucky tweeter at the event for the best tip for the PlayBook OS 2.0. Unfortunately though, I wasn’t the lucky one. You can search twitter for some of the interesting tips we came up with during the event by looking up the hashtag #playbookOS2
Didn’t manage to get any pics of the event (right, so I was lazy) but you can head over to Blackberry Singapore’s Facebook Page for pictures of the event (Or you can just click here)
Right then, till next time~
