The power saving technology of the BlackBerry Microfiber Pocket helps to preserve battery power by automatically dimming the screen, while the exterior protects against bumps and scratches and the soft inner lining helps keep the screen of your smartphone clean. With a slot on the outside of the pocket for easy access to credit cards and ID, the microfiber BlackBerry Pocket is stylish and functional. This comes in Red and Grey.

For the most part, what you see is what you get.  In terms of features, there really isn’t any except for the minor protection they offer with hardly any weight increase.  There’s a sleep/wake magnet built into it, so, there is still that automatic sleep mode when you slide it in. Designed specifically for the Z10, the fit is perfect. However, it may take a few days for the pouch to get broken in, so until then it may be a little troublesome removing your phone quickly.

Even though these are completely lined with that soft microfiber material, there does seem to be a little bit of rigidity on the back of the sleeve, and there’s a very small bit of padding on the front of it as well.  Combined, you have more protection than you would in a little silk bag.  These pouches are meant more for preventing scratches rather than being overly protective.  But, if you do happen to drop your BlackBerry while it’s in this case, it will probably just bounce.
As we can see, on the back of it, there is a small little cut out, this can be used to put name cards, notes or cards for the matter which is very handy for the business person. There are 2 more other pouch solutions from BlackBerry, being the standard leather types. This is a new unique pouch approach BlackBerry has come up with and should be kept in one’s sight, however, being a cloth material, I am still skeptical regarding its durability in the long run, versus leather solutions.
