According to reports floating around, BlackBerry is looking to close their software design operations in Sweden. Started by its acquisition of The Astonishing Tribe (TAT) in 2010, the team grew. BlackBerry seems to have made their latest acquisition with the file sync and share platform, WatchDox. The deal, worth between US$150-200 Million, is apparently signed earlier this week and with that, BlackBerry will open its first R&D center in Israel, where WatchDox is based.
