BlackBerry is at it again, they have released the monthly security patch for BlackBerry devices powered by Android. However, it still seems like only the BlackBerry Priv has received it thus far and DTEK nor KEYone has yet to receive the update (since May). Anyway, check out what has changed below.
According to BlackBerry, June’s update were skipped for the DTEK series (DTEK50 and DTEK60) due to issues, however, they should be receiving this month’s update later in the month.
This month’s update patches over 60 security vulnerabilities, including the ‘Broadpwn’ that impacted both Android and iOS devices.
To get the update, simply go to settings -> About phone -> System Updates. Do remember to have sufficient power for your device before proceeding!
