We all know that John Chen, BlackBerry’s CEO, is a focused man on the job. Now, one of the man he brought in to support his plans, Eric Johnson has been demoted as sales has not improved under his leadership. This is evident that John Chen is willing to undertake serious management changes at the company in order to turn the company’s tide around.
According to Globe and the mail, BlackBerry confirmed in an e-mail Wednesday that Eric Johnson, formerly president of global sales for BlackBerry and hired 11 months ago, has been replaced by the company’s president of enterprise, John Sims.
