A couple of days ago, we reported that M1 is pushing out the 10.1 MR update out to users. Which left us wondering what the rest of the carriers were waiting for. And here’s what we found.In my own personal capacity, I reached out to Singtel regarding the update, and got a response from a “Social care employee” from @SingTelSupport.
As we know, the MR update that M1 pushed out is a version known to cause SMS messages to “disappear”. Thus Singtel is testing a newer version, which we suspect to be .4780 that is said to resolve that particular issue.
As with all software updates, they are subjected to carrier testing. How long it will take, I have no idea at all. All we can hope is that it will be soon.
