BlackBerry has started to push the latest OS update (AAF153) earlier this week and the update was between 1.2GB and 1.8GB depending on the OS that you are updating from. Some of you asked, how come the update is so big, especially when you are already on the Android Marshmallow update. Well, it is not only a software maintenance release, but it also patches a total of 29 vulnerabilities to the OS.
The latest OS now stands at AAF153 and with Android Security date of 1 June 2016. So go ahead and download the update – but don’t forget to back up and have a good Wi-Fi signal and power for the device as it updates!
