Right on the heels that Apple is apparently ditching Gorilla Glass in favor for sapphire crystal, it seems like Corning’s Gorilla might have found a new partner. According to N4BB, BlackBerry Passport would not feature Touch on Lens as its display, but instead, it will be using Gorilla Glass 3. In addition, it will feature a super sharp screen with resolution of 453DPI with a 1440×1440 resolution.
What is Gorilla Glass?
It is an alkali-aluminosilicate sheet toughened glass manufactured by U.S. glassmaker Corning Inc. Engineered for a combination of thinness, lightness, and damage-resistance and prevents cracks from propagating.
