BlackBerry OS 10.1 will be the next major update for BlackBerry users and will be available on the BlackBerry Q10 and of course, as an upgrade for the BlackBerry Z10 users. Some details of the Q10 update outlining some new features have been leaked online. And so, apparently, now there reports that Skype will come pre-loaded on the BlackBerry Q10, which many users have been saying it should have been loaded together onto Z10 from the very beginning.
When Skype was bought over by Microsoft, it seemed that it would have been rather hard to have it on many platforms, especially the new ones without a licensing blitz with Microsoft. However, while we are not sure what BlackBerry has with Microsoft on this its still nice to see it finally coming to the platform, as a form of android port that is modified to work with the BlackBerry Hub.
While noone is entirely sure of the details yet, hell, it is coming. At last.
