With Singtel and Starhub offering BlackBerry Prepaid plans for sometime now, M1 has finally joined the wagon, offering the BlackBerry PrePaid Plans. Better late than never i suppose? No more contract commitments for loyal M1 users wanting to use the BlackBerry services!

Now, what makes them different?

• All Prepaid BlackBerry plan(s) is charged based on a full 24 hours from the time of your subscription. For example: Customer subscribes to a 3-days plan at 1-Feb 2:00PM, it will expire 4-Feb 1:59PM.
• Multiple subscriptions are allowed. Your expiry date will extend based on your last subscription. The exact time of expiry will be based on your first subscription. For example: Customer subscribes to a 3-days plan at 1-Feb 2:00PM, then the next day subscribed to a 1-day plan at 2-Feb 4:00PM, the BlackBerry service will expire 5-Feb 1:59PM.
• And Yes, you can use Prepaid BlackBerry service while roaming. However, you will be charged the prevailing data roaming rates for sending & receiving emails or any data surfing. Charges will be deducted from your Main Balance.

This is unlike Singtel and Starhub where some of those features listed above are missing. Also good to note that M1 has a identical pricing scheme to Singtel, making Starhub the priciest of the lot.
