Following on the ‘Wake Up’ marketing campaign in Australia, Research In Motion is continuing the Bold marketing. Some new banner ads have started to pop-up, which read ‘Don’t Just Think. Do.’ This campaign has been raising questions around the online scene, and its pretty confusing at what the whole marketing team is trying to do.
It’s a pretty cut and dry banner, but it does show a small BlackBerry logo and a website address of WakeUpBeBold.com. Upon visiting the website you’re greeted with an Australian man telling you how to be the best businessman or woman.
This is a far cry from that of the UK advertisements and this is surely one bold statement. How will this play out? I’m not too sure, but I sure do hope that our local ones will turn out better!
